We offer a variety of tests for health assessment purposes. These tests include those for the gastrointestinal system, immune system, endocrine system, metabolic system, and nutritional assessment. In all cases Dr. Herring will determine the appropriateness of any patient testing. 

Our tests include (but are not limited to):

Stool Parasitology

Parasites can distrupt the body's balance by causing irritability, diarrhea, inflammation and abdominal discomfort. This test will determine if parasites are the underlying cause of these symptoms.

Adrenal Stress Index

Adrenal stress can cause a host of symptoms ranging from sleep problems, anxiety, fatigue, learning difficulties and more. This test will determine whether Adrenal Stress is an underlying cause of these symptoms. This test can also determine if Adrenal stress is contributing to a hormonal imbalance.

Elemental Urine Analysis

This test helps determine what elements in the urine may be toxic or out of balance. 

Menopausal Profile

If a woman over 40 is experiencing changes in her periods, hot flashes, irritability, concentration problems or vaginal dryness, this test should be considered. 

Comprehensive Thyroid Assessment

Classic hypo-thyroid related symptoms include; fatigue, weight gain, dry skin, and depression. Hyper-thyroid related symptoms include; extreme anxiety, weight loss, inability to sleep, and sweatiness. This test can help assess a patient’s thyroid condition. 

Comprehensive Hormone Profile

This test may be indicated when we see a complex set of symptoms requiring information about a patients sex hormones, adrenal hormones, etc.

Genomic Profile

This test can help identify a patients inherited pre-disposition to certain diseases. For example, if a patient’s family has a history of diabetes this test will help determine the degree to which the patient is at risk for diabetes.

Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis

This test analyzes a patient’s stool to help determine what is causing digestive symptoms.
